some of you may have heard of GitHub Discussions. They just became available for the TinyDB GitHub repository. GitHub Discussions implement what this forum was always intended for: discussing questions and issues relating to TinyDB without opening GitHub issues. Therefore, I intend to move these discussions to GitHub Discussions. This will have several benefits:
- They are integrated right into GitHub. I expect that this will give discussions better visibility and allow for better and wider discussions.
- I don't have to maintain the forum any more. I've always been slow with updating Flarum, the forum software behind the TinyDB forum. Moving discussions to GitHub means that GitHub themselves will maintain and improve the discussion forum.
For now, I'll keep this forum active, but I intend to archive it down somewhen around the beginning of next year. As I don't really want to migrate all old discussions to GitHub, I'll put this forum into a read-only mode and link to the new forum prominently.
